Jody Mangum, Licensed Acupuncture, has helped thousands of people with a variety of ailments. She trained at Samra University of Oriental Medicine in Los Angeles, where a majority of the professors were from China, receiving her Master's of Science in Oriental Medicine in 2000.
Additionally, she is a Certified NAET practitioner (since 2001). This is a specific technique utilizing neuro-muscular testing, acupressure and acupuncture to provide relief for environmental and food sensitivities.

Jody also attended The American Acupuncture Academy in 1999 and received a Diplomat of Orthopedic Acupuncture with Dr. Hu Gu. a renowned orthopedic surgeon in China. This specialty provided invaluable insight to treating pain, one of the most common symptoms for which patients seek healthcare.
Most recently, Jody trains yearly with Kiiko Matsumoto since 2004 in Japanese technique. This involves palpation of diagnostic points on the abdomen or "hara." Kiiko's techniques have provided amazing results for gastrointestinal problems, cardiac conditions, flank pain, autonomic nervous system dominance (the feeling of "fight or flight"), inflammation, chronic pain conditions, and spinal imbalances, to name a few.
While studying in Los Angeles, Jody was concurrently working as a Certified Personal Trainer and has a broad base of knowledge in well-care with exercise.
